About the role

Berry Recruitment is seeking a Chef de Partie / Junior Sous Chef for an immediate start at a busy hospitality venue in Falmouth, Cornwall. The position offers ongoing temporary work in a high‑volume kitchen, ideal for candidates who thrive in fast‑paced environments.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook dishes in line with menu specifications.
• Support day‑to‑day kitchen operations and maintain smooth service flow.
• Work on the pass, coordinating orders during service.
• Uphold food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Assist with stock rotation and overall kitchen organization.
• Collaborate closely with the wider kitchen team to ensure efficient service.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.
• Confidence working the pass and managing service flow.
• Ability to perform well under pressure in a busy kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen procedures.
• Relevant catering qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
