Chef de Partie – Luxury Hotel Kitchen

About the role

Join the culinary team at Grantley Hall, a five‑star historic hotel in North Yorkshire. As a Chef de Partie you will run a designated section of the kitchen, supporting the Sous Chef and Head Chef in delivering exceptional dining experiences for discerning guests.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the brigade in the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of the kitchen.
• Take day‑to‑day responsibility for your section, following guidance from the Sous Chef.
• Contribute to the development of creative menus and uphold the hotel’s high service standards.
• Maintain food quality that meets the luxury expectations of the property.
• Communicate guest and team feedback to the Sous Chef and Head Chef.
• Support other sections and perform additional duties as required.
• Train, delegate, and supervise Commis Chefs and apprentices.
• Ensure cleanliness, stock control, organisation, and standards within the section.

Required profile

• A genuine passion for food and a willingness to learn.
• Enthusiasm for working in a high‑pressure kitchen environment.
• Understanding of health, safety and food‑safety regulations.
• Commitment to the high standards demanded by a luxury establishment.
