Chef de Partie – Michelin Star

About the role

Join the culinary team at Grantley Hall, a five‑star luxury hotel in North Yorkshire, and work in a kitchen that supports a two‑MICHELIN Key Distinction. As a Chef de Partie you will manage your own section, uphold the highest standards of food quality, and contribute to creative menu development in a fast‑paced, high‑end environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the brigade in the smooth, safe, and efficient running of the kitchen.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of your section under the guidance of the Sous Chef.
• Support the development of creative menus and ensure exceptional food quality.
• Maintain cleanliness, stock control, organization, and standards of the section.
• Train, delegate tasks to Commis Chefs and apprentices, and provide feedback to the Sous Chef and Head Chef.
• Assist on other sections or with additional duties as required.

Required profile

• A genuine passion for food and a willingness to learn.
• Strong kitchen and knife skills.
• Thorough understanding of health, safety and food‑safety guidelines.
• Ability to work under pressure in a luxury hospitality setting.
• Experience guiding and supporting junior kitchen staff.
