About the role
The Red Barn is seeking a motivated Chef de Partie to join our vibrant pub kitchen. You will work alongside the Head Chef to deliver fresh, high‑quality dishes that keep our guests coming back.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and plate dishes to the highest standards, ensuring consistency and freshness.
- Act as a hands‑on Kitchen Supervisor, overseeing a section of the kitchen during service.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new menu items and daily specials.
- Maintain cost and labour controls to protect gross profit margins.
- Support sales growth by working closely with front‑of‑house staff.
Required profile
- Current Chef de Partie or an ambitious Commis Chef ready for the next step.
- Passion for producing quality fresh food in a welcoming environment.
- Strong communication skills and a team‑oriented attitude.
- Willingness to learn new techniques and take on additional responsibilities.
Required skills
- Fast‑paced kitchen experience.
- Food safety knowledge.
- Food preparation techniques.
