Chef De Partie – Temporary (Potential Permanent)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Chef De Partie to join our dynamic hospitality team in South West England. This temporary position offers the chance to develop your culinary skills with the possibility of a permanent role.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook dishes according to the Head Chef’s menu and recipes.
• Support Sous Chefs in ensuring the kitchen operates safely and efficiently.
• Maintain high standards of food presentation, hygiene, and margin control.
• Engage with guests to discuss menu items and address dietary or allergen concerns.
• Train, coach and motivate junior staff and apprentices.
• Manage stock levels and ensure the venue is fully pre‑pared for service.
• Adhere to the company’s Food Safety Management System.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a fast‑paced, large‑scale kitchen environment.
• Food Hygiene certification (Level 2 or 3).
• Strong knowledge of kitchen health and safety practices.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high culinary standards.
• Excellent communication and multitasking abilities.
