Chef – Flexible Part‑Time Role in Amesbury

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Chef to join a friendly team in Amesbury. The position offers part‑time, temporary work with the possibility of permanent placement, allowing you to balance work with your lifestyle.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a designated kitchen section efficiently during service.
• Prepare, cook and present dishes to a high standard.
• Monitor stock levels, minimise waste and order provisions correctly.
• Store supplies to maintain quality and budget control.
• Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff.
• Maintain excellent hygiene, food‑safety and compliance standards.
• Support the wider team to deliver exceptional service.

Required profile

• Flexible and adaptable to different kitchen environments.
• Experience in a professional kitchen, preferably as a Chef de Partie.
• Confident in running your own section and delivering high‑quality food.
• Strong communicator and team player.
• Based in or able to commute to Amesbury and surrounding areas.
