Chef – Greek Cuisine (Full‑time / Part‑time)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Chef specialised in Greek cuisine to join the team at Babinondas, a well‑known Greek restaurant in Palmers Green, North London. The kitchen is fully equipped and holds a 5‑star food hygiene rating, offering a friendly, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook authentic Greek dishes, including charcoal‑grilled items.
• Determine food presentation and create decorative displays.
• Estimate quantities and costs of supplies, inspect ingredients and equipment for quality.
• Instruct and supervise cooks and kitchen staff in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation.
• Monitor sanitation practices to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Greek cuisine chef.
• Ability to work on charcoal grills.
• Hardworking, reliable, responsible and a strong team player.
• Must reside locally in the Palmers Green area.
