About the role
Scattergoods Agency is seeking enthusiastic chefs for temporary assignments in conference centres throughout Surrey. This fast‑paced role offers flexible hours and the chance to showcase your culinary creativity across a variety of venues.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a diverse range of dishes to a high standard.
- Ensure all food is cooked and presented in line with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment.
- Uphold sanitation and safety standards at all times.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a chef or cook in a professional kitchen.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Passion for food and creativity in the kitchen.
- Own transportation is highly beneficial.

What we offer
- Hourly rate between £16.50 and £18.50 (PAYE).
