Chemistry Lecturer

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Chemistry Lecturer to join our teaching team in West London. The role combines classroom instruction in Chemistry and BTEC Applied Science with compensated administrative duties.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lectures and practical sessions for Chemistry and BTEC Applied Science units.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments that align with curriculum standards.
• Evaluate student progress and provide feedback on assignments and exams.
• Maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment.
• Complete administrative tasks related to student management and course reporting.
• Collaborate with fellow faculty to improve teaching methods and curriculum design.

Required profile

• A degree in Chemistry or a closely related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Chemistry Lecturer or in a similar teaching role.
• Strong knowledge of Chemistry concepts and the BTEC Applied Science curriculum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students.
• Organisational skills to balance teaching and admin responsibilities.
