About the role
We are seeking a Chemistry Teacher for a mixed secondary school and sixth form in South West London, starting in September. The role is full‑time, long‑term temporary with the possibility of permanent employment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver Chemistry lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils, with potential KS5 teaching.
- Plan and prepare engaging lessons and assessments.
- Maintain classroom discipline and a safe laboratory environment.
- Contribute to the school’s inclusive ethos and support SEN provision as needed.
Required profile
- Right to work in the UK.
- Current DBS clearance.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or overseas equivalent.
- Experience teaching Chemistry in UK schools (recently qualified or experienced).
