Chemistry Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a Chemistry Teacher for a mixed secondary school and sixth form in South London. The role starts in September and is full‑time, initially offered on a temporary basis with the potential for long‑term placement. You will teach Chemistry across Key Stages 3 to 5 (ages 11‑18).

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Chemistry lessons to KS3, KS4 and KS5 students.
• Prepare lesson plans, resources and assessments in line with the national curriculum.
• Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback and support.
• Contribute to the wider school community, including departmental meetings and extracurricular activities.

Required profile

• Right to work in the UK.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or overseas equivalent.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.
• Experience teaching Chemistry in UK schools (recently qualified or experienced).

Required skills

• Chemistry subject knowledge.
