About the role
The company is a leading international consumer electronics group seeking a UK/EU Chief Executive Officer to lead regional business, own strategy, P&L and long‑term growth.
Key responsibilities
- Define and execute medium‑ and long‑term UK/EU growth strategy, set annual operating plans and assume full P&L responsibility.
- Build and scale cross‑functional teams (HR, legal, procurement, brand, PR, offline marketing) and implement governance, performance and incentive frameworks.
- Lead compliance and risk management, liaise with UK/EU and international regulators on legal, tax and policy matters.
- Drive brand building, public relations and integrated marketing communications, protect premium brand positioning and manage crisis response.
- Collaborate with global supply chain and international branches to optimise procurement, warehousing, logistics and operations within a disciplined cost‑control framework.
- Represent the organisation regionally, maintain relationships with government, industry bodies, channel partners and key stakeholders, and lead major negotiations.
- Steer IPO preparation and execution for the UK/EU business, including governance optimisation and financial system standardisation.
- Oversee M&A activities and post‑merger integration from target selection and due diligence to synergy realisation and organisational alignment.
Required profile
- Deep understanding of UK and European business environments, labour regulations and operating norms; native‑level English (Mandarin preferred but not essential).
- 10+ years in C‑suite or senior VP roles within FMCG or consumer electronics, with proven experience running full‑scope subsidiary operations and channel ecosystems.
- Strong knowledge of UK/EU and international commercial law and industry policy, and a track record leading large, localised operations for major consumer brands.
- Exceptional strategic vision, broad business acumen and strength in systematic operational management and senior stakeholder engagement.
- Demonstrated success in team building, organisational optimisation and business innovation, with market insight and product‑led thinking.
- Experience assembling senior teams, developing talent and designing performance incentive systems, supported by a strong network across government, industry associations, channels and media.
- Proven capability in strategic planning, high‑stakes decision‑making, risk control and negotiation, with resilience to lead fast‑growing, rapidly evolving international businesses.
