About the role

The General Dental Council (GDC) is seeking a Chief External Examiner to lead the Overseas Registration Examination (ORE). This position is home‑based with occasional travel to exam sites as required.

Key responsibilities

Oversee the planning and delivery of the ORE.
Travel to examination locations when appropriate.
Ensure the examination process aligns with GDC regulatory standards.

Ability to work remotely and travel to exam venues as needed.
