Child Protection Hub Social Worker

About the role

We are seeking a Child Protection Hub Social Worker to join Bridgend Council's Children Safeguarding Hub. The position is full‑time and requires on‑site presence three days a week. You will work within a specialist agency supporting local authorities across South and West Wales.

Key responsibilities

• Provide social work support to children and families within the safeguarding hub.
• Collaborate with local authority partners to ensure effective safeguarding.
• Maintain accurate case records and comply with DBS and registration requirements.

Required profile

• Relevant Social Work qualification.
• Registration with Social Care Wales (or Social Work England).
• Enhanced DBS registered on the update service, or willingness to apply for a DBS.
• At least three years of referencing experience.
• Driving licence with access to a car.

• Pay rate of £38.43 per hour on Umbrella payroll or £30.50 per hour PAYE.
