Children Support Worker – Flexible Shifts

About the role
We are looking for compassionate Support Workers to deliver person‑centred care to children with complex needs in the South West of England. You will work directly in families’ homes and community settings, helping children build confidence, independence and enjoy meaningful daily experiences.
Key responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality, person‑centred support to children with autism, learning disabilities, mental health needs or challenging behaviours.
- Assist children with daily living activities, personal care and community outings.
- Promote independence by encouraging skill development and confidence building.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with families and multidisciplinary teams.
- Adapt support plans to each child’s individual needs and preferences.
Required profile
- Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification.
- Minimum one year of experience in care or support roles.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.
- Experience supporting children with complex needs.
- Reliable, compassionate and person‑centred approach.
