Children’s Registered Home Manager – Residential Care Leader

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Children’s Registered Home Manager to lead a residential children’s home in Haslingden. You will create a safe, supportive environment where young people can thrive while inspiring and developing a high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the home, ensuring safety and quality of care.
• Lead, develop and motivate staff to deliver outstanding safeguarding and therapeutic support.
• Manage budgets, occupancy levels and performance targets.
• Maintain compliance with Ofsted standards and drive continuous improvement.
• Build strong relationships with local authorities, partner agencies and external stakeholders.
• Prepare for and achieve positive Ofsted inspections.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience as a Children’s Registered Manager or at least two years as a Deputy Manager ready to progress.
• Strong leadership and people‑management abilities.
• Commitment to safeguarding and delivering positive outcomes for children.
• Knowledge of quality standards, compliance requirements and Ofsted processes.
• Ability to foster collaborative relationships with internal and external partners.
