About the role

We are seeking a compassionate and resilient professional to join our team as a Children’s Residential Support Worker on a bank basis. This role provides essential care and support within a structured residential environment, helping young people navigate emotional, social and behavioural challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality, compassionate care for children and young people facing emotional, social or behavioural difficulties.
• Support personal growth through educational activities and tailored care plans.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment across flexible shift patterns, including days, nights and sleep‑ins.
• Act as a positive role model, empowering residents to achieve their potential.
• Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Full UK manual driving licence.
• Commitment to professional development and completion of required training.
• Previous experience in residential care or working with children facing complex challenges (desirable).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a professional team.
