Children's Residential Support Worker – Flexible Agency Role

About the role
We are seeking experienced Agency Support Workers to provide safe, consistent, child‑centred care in residential homes for children and young people with emotional, behavioural, learning or autism needs.
Key responsibilities
- Support children and young people in daily living activities and promote routines, boundaries and positive relationships.
- Assist with emotional wellbeing, record daily notes, incidents and handovers accurately.
- Work as part of a team to keep children safe, following care plans, risk assessments and safeguarding procedures.
- Cover a variety of shift patterns including day shifts, long days, sleep‑ins, waking nights and ad‑hoc assignments.
Required profile
- Previous experience working with children or young people, preferably with EBD, autism, learning disabilities or challenging behaviour.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) and good safeguarding knowledge.
- Reliable, flexible and professional attitude.
- Driver’s licence preferred but not essential.
