Children’s Social Worker – Court Team (Aylesbury)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Children’s Social Worker to join a Court Team serving families in the Aylesbury area. This contract position offers a competitive rate of £42 per hour and flexible hybrid working arrangements.

Key responsibilities

• Provide specialist social work support to children and families involved in court proceedings.
• Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and make recommendations to the court.
• Collaborate with legal professionals, health services, and other agencies to ensure the child's best interests are represented.
• Maintain accurate case records and produce reports for judicial review.

Required profile

• Qualified Social Worker with current registration.
• Proven experience working with children and families in a court or legal context.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and family law.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
