Children's Support Worker – Days (Winsford)

About the role

Join a dedicated team at iMap Centre Limited to provide compassionate, day‑time support for children with autism living in a residential home in Winsford. You will help them develop daily living skills, foster independence, and enjoy a safe, inclusive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist children with autism in daily activities, personal care and learning tasks.
• Implement and follow individual support plans, encouraging positive behaviour and social interaction.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to maintain a nurturing, safe residential setting.
• Monitor progress, keep accurate records and report observations to senior staff.
• Promote inclusion and participation in group activities and community outings.

Required profile

• Previous experience supporting children or adults with additional needs.
• Understanding of Ofsted guidelines and autism‑related learning and behaviour.
• Compassionate, patient and reliable with a positive attitude.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic literacy and numeracy for record‑keeping.
