Children's Support Worker – Temporary (Milton Keynes)

About the role

Prospero Health & Social Care is seeking experienced Children’s Support Workers for temporary assignments across Buckinghamshire, including Milton Keynes. You will work directly with vulnerable children and young people, helping them build resilience and develop positive coping strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one and group support to children and young people in various settings.
• Collaborate with families, schools, social workers, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Monitor and report on the wellbeing and progress of service users.
• Ensure all activities comply with safeguarding and child protection policies.

Required profile

• Minimum six months experience in a child‑focused support role.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection principles.
• Ability to work flexibly across different locations and settings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
