Chiller Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Chiller Engineer to join a forward‑thinking company that maintains critical air‑conditioning and chiller equipment across the M25 area. You will work on‑site at client locations, delivering reliable service and technical support for a wide range of HVAC systems.

Key responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair small, medium and large chiller systems independently.
• Compile detailed dilapidation reports after each site visit.
• Carry out maintenance and repairs on scroll, reciprocating, screw, centrifugal and Turbocor compressors.
• Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) visits to ensure system reliability and efficiency.
• Diagnose and resolve advanced technical faults with precision.
• Prepare accurate reports for clients and internal records.
• Adhere to industry standards, company policies and Health & Safety regulations.
• Stay up‑to‑date with technological advancements and suggest process improvements.

Required profile

• Qualification in air‑conditioning and refrigeration (Diploma level or higher).
• Category 1 F‑Gas certification (or equivalent).
• Valid full UK driving licence.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety guidelines in an engineering environment.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with centrifugal and Turbocor compressors.
• Knowledge of scroll, reciprocating and screw compressors.
• Proficiency in diagnosing complex equipment faults.
• Experience using manufacturers' service software for HVAC systems.
• F‑Gas Category 1 certification.
