Chinese Head Chef

About the role

Yummy Restaurant GmbH is looking for a passionate Chinese Head Chef to lead the kitchen and deliver authentic Chinese dishes to guests. The role involves creating memorable culinary experiences using traditional techniques and high‑quality ingredients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook traditional Chinese specialties such as wok dishes, dim sum, hand‑pulled noodles, and regional classics.
• Contribute to menu planning by developing seasonal dishes and specialty menus.
• Maintain consistent quality, freshness, and presentation for all plates.
• Manage inventory of Asian ingredients and assist with stocktaking.
• Ensure strict adherence to HACCP guidelines and keep the workspace clean.

Required profile

• Multi‑year professional experience as a chef specializing in authentic Chinese cuisine.
• Deep knowledge of traditional cooking techniques, especially wok handling.
• Ability to work under pressure, stay organized during busy service, and maintain a clean work environment.
• Team‑oriented attitude with reliability and flexibility.
• Good communication skills in German and/or English; Chinese language skills are a plus.
