Civil Engineer – Liverpool

About the role

Join a growing consultancy in Liverpool as a Civil Engineer, delivering a mix of development and infrastructure projects across the North West. The role offers hands‑on involvement, client exposure and a clear progression path within a technically strong team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage civil engineering projects from concept through to delivery.
• Liaise with clients to provide technically robust, commercially aware solutions.
• Prepare and review designs, drawings and reports.
• Support Section Agreements (S278, S38, S185, S104).
• Use AutoCAD, Civil 3D, InfoDrainage or similar software.
• Maintain a hands‑on role across design, project management and site delivery.
• Collaborate closely with a skilled team to achieve high‑quality outcomes.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a UK civil engineering consultancy.
• Proven client liaison and project management experience.
• Practical knowledge of S278, S38, S185 and S104 agreements.
• Strong communication, presentation and organisational skills.
• Proactive attitude with clear ambition to progress as a Civil Engineer.
