Civil Engineering Coordinator – Residential Development

About the role

We are seeking a Civil Engineering Coordinator to support the delivery of residential development projects from design through construction for a leading housing developer on the outskirts of Canterbury. The role involves coordinating civil engineering aspects, ensuring compliance with technical, planning and regulatory requirements, and working closely with internal teams, consultants and contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate civil engineering components of residential schemes, from design to construction.
• Ensure projects meet safety, technical, planning and regulatory standards.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors and stakeholders to facilitate smooth project delivery.
• Conduct site visits and manage relevant agreements such as Section 38, Section 278 and sewer adoption.

Required profile

• Experience in civil engineering, infrastructure or residential development projects.
• Knowledge of residential infrastructure design, highways and drainage requirements.
• Understanding of UK planning processes and construction methods.
• Full UK driving licence for site visits.
• HNC/HND or degree in Civil Engineering (desirable).

Required skills

• Proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with Civil 3D (advantageous).
