Civil Engineering Technician – Exeter (Full‑time)

About the role
Join a thriving engineering consultancy based in Exeter, supporting a busy team of engineers, apprentices and technicians. The role offers a full training programme in civil design software and clear progression pathways within a large, multi‑disciplinary engineering company.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the design and planning of drainage, highway, water, structural and transport projects.
- Work on a variety of housing, highway and local authority schemes, including large estates in Cornwall.
- Collaborate with experienced engineers and regional offices to deliver project deliverables.
- Participate in site visits and contribute to project documentation.
Required profile
- Level 3, HNC or equivalent civil engineering qualification.
- Based within commuting distance of Redruth/Exeter.
- Strong desire to learn and progress in a technical role.

What we offer
- Salary £25,000‑£35,000 per year, dependent on experience.
- 23 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing with service.
- Employer pension contribution of 3‑6%.
- Free parking at the Exeter office.
