Cladding Safety Scheme Project Surveyor

About the role

We are partnering with Hastoe Housing Association to recruit a Project Surveyor who will lead the delivery of its Cladding Safety Scheme remediation programme. This fixed‑term role offers hybrid working across Outer London and Luton, supporting two high‑profile building safety projects.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between Hastoe, consultants and contractors.
• Oversee project delivery, programmes, budgets and risk management.
• Review and challenge technical proposals, procurement strategies, cost plans and schedules.
• Ensure compliance with the Cladding Safety Scheme, Building Safety Act and regulator requirements.
• Report progress to senior leadership, Homes England and other stakeholders.
• Lead or support resident and leaseholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Proven experience in cladding remediation or fire‑safety projects.
• Client‑side project management or consultancy oversight background.
• Knowledge of the Cladding Safety Scheme, Building Safety Act and High‑Rise Residential Building requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• HNC/HND (Level 5) or higher in a relevant discipline; MRICS desirable.

• Salary between £55,000 and £65,000 per year.
