Claimant Personal Injury Solicitor – Leeds

About the role

We are seeking a Claimant Personal Injury Solicitor to join our Leeds team on a hybrid basis. You will manage your own portfolio of personal injury claims from initial instruction through to settlement, delivering high‑quality client service and meeting departmental targets.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of pre‑ and post‑litigated EL/PL and RTA files, progressing each case from inception to resolution.
• Draft and submit legal documents via the MOJ portal, including witness statements, schedules of loss and correspondence.
• Liaise confidently with clients, medical professionals and third parties throughout the claim lifecycle.
• Conduct legal research and stay up‑to‑date with changes in personal injury law, the MOJ Pre‑Action Protocol and the Civil Procedure Rules.
• Maintain accurate case records, meet service level agreements and contribute to personal and department‑wide targets.

Required profile

• 1‑7 years post‑qualification experience as a solicitor.
• Proven ability to manage caseloads independently.
• Solid litigation experience; exposure to EL and PL claims is desirable.
• Excellent client care, negotiation and communication skills.
