About the role
A very exciting opportunity has arisen for a Claims Assistant to join a personal injury law firm based in Huddersfield. This is an amazing opportunity for someone who is keen to work within a legal environment and wants to build their career.
Key responsibilities
- Receive inbound claim enquiries via telephone.
- Handle inbound and outbound customer calls.
- Accurately update the case management system with all relevant customer and claim details.
- Assess the potential success of each claim.
- Identify the most appropriate protocol to begin the claim.
- Maintain empathy and professionalism while delivering high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Pro‑actively communicate with customers to assist them in starting their claim.
- Assist fee earners with tasks as required.
Required profile
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs, with Maths and English essential.
- Experience in a fast‑paced, customer‑centric environment (desirable).
- Experience or knowledge of personal injury claims (desirable).
- Experience or knowledge of handling customer telephone calls (essential).
