Claims Handler

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Claims Handler to join a leading independent global loss adjusting firm. You will manage a portfolio of property and liability claims across the UK and Europe, working closely with insurers, brokers and field adjusters.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate, negotiate and settle property and liability claims from inception to resolution.
• Communicate daily with insured parties, insurers, brokers and overseas stakeholders.
• Produce detailed claim reports and ensure compliant time‑reporting and billing.
• Collaborate with field adjusters and attend client review meetings.

Required profile

• Proven claims handling experience with full caseload management.
• Experience in property claims covering all general perils.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong relationship‑building and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
• Relevant industry qualifications or willingness to pursue them.
• Availability to work on‑site 2–3 days per week.
