Claims Handler – Motor Claims (Rochdale)

About the role

We are seeking a confident Claims Handler to join our motor claims team in Rochdale. You will be the first point of contact for clients referred by our partners, guiding them from initial notification through to settlement and helping them return to their pre‑accident situation.

Key responsibilities

• Take detailed information for new claims and assess their validity.
• Manage your own portfolio of ongoing motor claims.
• Gather all necessary documentation to support claim recovery.
• Provide clear, professional updates to clients and third parties.
• Maintain a proactive approach to progress each claim efficiently.

Required profile

• Familiarity with ABI/GTA guidelines (preferred).
• Understanding of the phonetic alphabet (preferred).
• Confidence using Microsoft Office (preferred).
• Basic knowledge of internet technologies (preferred).
• Proactive, can‑do attitude and commitment to outstanding service.
