Claims Handler – Property & Liability

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Claims Handler to join a leading independent global loss adjusting firm. You will manage a portfolio of property and liability claims across the UK and Europe, working closely with insurers, brokers and field adjusters.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate, negotiate and settle property and liability claims from inception to resolution.
• Maintain daily communication with insured parties, insurers, brokers and overseas stakeholders.
• Produce detailed claim reports and ensure accurate time‑reporting and billing compliance.
• Collaborate with field adjusters and attend client review meetings as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in claims handling with full caseload management.
• Background in property claims covering general perils.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong relationship‑building and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and meet targets.
