Claims Handler – Public Liability (Hybrid)

About the role
We are looking for a Claims Handler to manage public liability claims from first notification through to resolution. You will work directly with policyholders, claimants and third parties to achieve fair outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of public liability claims end‑to‑end.
- Assess liability and review evidence to determine next steps.
- Liaise with solicitors, loss adjusters and other third parties as required.
- Keep claimants updated and maintain accurate records throughout the process.
- Identify potential fraud or inconsistencies and escalate appropriately.
Required profile
- Previous experience in insurance claims, legal or a similarly detail‑driven role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work to deadlines and service level agreements.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office; experience of claims systems is a plus.

- £15.85 per hour.
- Hybrid working – 2 days in the office, 3 days remote.
