Claims Handler – Public Liability (Liverpool)

About the role

Join Keoghs LLP’s Casualty Team as a Claims Handler, managing a portfolio of Public Liability and Property Damage claims. You will guide each claim from inception through to pre‑litigation settlement, ensuring a high level of client service and compliance with SLA targets.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively manage a caseload of Public Liability & Property Damage claims up to a £10,000 reserve.
• Maintain accurate data in the case management system.
• Meet client SLA requirements and quality standards.
• Deliver consistent productivity and service quality.
• Undertake additional tasks as directed by the Team Leader.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 months relevant experience or a law degree (or equivalent).
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability.
• Strong communication, negotiation and client‑care skills.
• Ability to manage workload independently and as part of a team.
