Claims Validation Intelligence Researcher

About the role

Join NFU Mutual’s Claims Validation Intelligence team to help uncover organised fraud and protect customers. You will work in a hybrid model, primarily from home with occasional visits to our Bristol or Stratford-upon-Avon office.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct open‑source and internal data research to produce structured intelligence reports.
• Identify suspicious activity, map fraud networks and support intelligence‑led investigations.
• Collaborate with analysts, industry partners and internal stakeholders to progress investigations.
• Manage multiple research projects, balancing proactive and reactive tasks while complying with data protection regulations.

Required profile

• Strong research and analytical abilities with a structured approach to information handling.
• Excellent written communication to produce clear, concise intelligence reports.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and build effective stakeholder relationships.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and capable of managing competing priorities.
