Class 1 (C+E) Driver – Exeter

About the role

Berry Recruitment is seeking a qualified Class 1 (C+E) driver to join a busy transport operation based in Exeter. This ongoing temporary assignment offers regular weekday work delivering and collecting goods across the South West region. The role is ideal for drivers who enjoy being on the road and take pride in safety and customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out daily delivery and collection routes throughout the region.
• Perform vehicle checks before and after each shift.
• Complete all paperwork and delivery records accurately.
• Adhere to driver hours regulations and company procedures.
• Maintain a professional approach when dealing with customers and colleagues.
• Follow health and safety requirements at all times.

Required profile

• Valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital tachograph card.
• Minimum one year of Class 1 driving experience.
• Good understanding of driver hours and transport legislation.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital tachograph equipment.
