Class 1 CE Driver – Refrigerated Transport in South West

About the role

We are looking for a UK Class 1 CE licensed driver to operate refrigerated trailers, collecting cheese from our customer site in Davidstow and delivering it safely across the South West. The role involves daily vehicle checks, securing loads and maintaining communication with the transport team.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a refrigerated trailer to collect and deliver cheese to multiple sites.
• Load, secure and protect goods using straps, nets and other devices.
• Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using a company phone.
• Maintain regular communication with the transport team and provide progress updates.
• Participate in training sessions to stay up‑to‑date with industry standards.

Required profile

• Valid UK Class 1 CE licence.
• Current DCPC card and digital tachograph driver card.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good geographical knowledge of the South West.
• Fit, flexible, hardworking and self‑motivated.
