Class 1 Driver – 4 on/4 off Shift in Cullompton

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Class 1 Driver to join our team in Cullompton. You will operate a curtain‑side trailer, collecting chilled goods and delivering them to our customer site in Nuneaton while maintaining high standards of safety and customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Drive a curtain‑side trailer on a 4‑on‑4‑off rota, starting between 06:00 and 10:00.
• Load, secure and unload chilled goods using straps, nets and other securing devices.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks using a company‑provided phone.
• Communicate progress to the transport team and meet customer expectations.
• Participate in regular training to stay up‑to‑date with industry standards.

Required profile

• Valid UK Class 1 CE licence.
• Current DCPC card and digital tachograph driver card.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good geographical knowledge of the South West England area.
• Fit, flexible, hardworking and self‑motivated.
