Class 1 Driver – HGV Delivery

About the role

Join Ocado Logistics as a Class 1 Driver delivering and collecting grocery orders from our state‑of‑the‑art warehouses to regional sites across England. You will work either 32 hours over four days or 40 hours over five days, often on overnight or early‑morning shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Operate large goods vehicles (LGV/HGV) to deliver and collect products safely and on time.
• Follow all company policies, health‑and‑safety procedures, and traffic regulations.
• Complete required paperwork and digital tachograph records for each journey.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any issues promptly.
• Adapt to flexible shift lengths, with routes assigned up to 12.5 hours per day.

Required profile

• Passion for driving and logistics.
• Category C+E driving licence with a maximum of 6 penalty points.
• No driving disqualifications in the past 10 years.
• Minimum 12 months of licence‑holding experience (6 months LGV experience preferred).
• Safe, competent driver able to work flexible hours.

Required skills

• Category C+E driving licence.
• Digital tachograph operation.
