About the role
Berry Recruitment is seeking a Class 1 (C+E) driver for an ongoing temporary assignment based in Exeter. The role involves regular weekday deliveries and collections across the South West region.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out daily delivery and collection routes.
- Perform vehicle checks before and after each shift.
- Complete all paperwork and delivery records accurately.
- Adhere to driver hours regulations and company procedures.
- Maintain a professional approach when dealing with customers and colleagues.
- Follow health and safety requirements.
Required profile
- Valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) licence.
- Valid Driver CPC qualification.
- Digital tachograph card.
- Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience.
- Good understanding of driver hours and transport legislation.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

What we offer
- Ongoing Monday‑to‑Friday shifts.
- Competitive hourly rate: £16.36 – £24.54 (higher after 40 hours).
