About the role
We are seeking a reliable Class 1 driver to work night shifts, operating Arrow XL vehicles for Mark Thompson Transport. The role involves transporting trailers between depots across the UK, delivering and collecting loads during 10‑12 hour duties.
Key responsibilities
- Drive Arrow XL trucks on night routes, covering various depots nationwide.
- Drop off and pick up trailers according to schedule.
- Complete duties lasting 10‑12 hours without hand‑balling.
- Maintain vehicle safety and compliance with road regulations.
Required profile
- Minimum one year of Class 1 driving experience.
- Ability to work night shifts, including weekends.
- Good knowledge of UK road network and depot locations.
Required skills
- Valid Class 1 licence.
What we offer
- Day rate of £190 on weekdays and £210 on weekends.
- Full‑time temporary contract.
