Class 1 HGV ADR Tanker Driver – Full‑time, Own Truck

About the role

This permanent, full‑time position is for a Class 1 HGV driver with an ADR tanker licence, based in Widnes. You will operate your own truck, delivering and collecting a variety of chemicals across the region while working within a family‑run company that values safety and driver wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Safely deliver and collect chemical loads in compliance with ADR regulations.
• Maintain accurate tachograph records for all hours worked, including breaks.
• Communicate any delays, issues or relevant information to the transport team via email.
• Follow company safety procedures and ensure the condition of your vehicle and equipment.
• Participate in weekly job allocation and adapt to varied routes and schedules.

Required skills

• ADR licence for tankers (all classes except 1 & 7).
• Valid digital tachograph.
• Up‑to‑date CPC card.
• HGV Class 1 licence.
