Class 1 HGV Driver – Flexible Shifts in Portsmouth

About the role

We are seeking experienced Class 1 HGV drivers to join a leading freight and logistics operation in Portsmouth. You will operate refrigerated trucks, delivering and collecting chilled stock from local and regional distribution centres, farms and pack‑houses across the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Drive Class 1 refrigerated HGVs safely on day, night and weekend shifts.
• Pick up and deliver chilled goods to and from distribution centres, farms and pack‑houses.
• Ensure timely and accurate collection and drop‑off of stock while complying with road‑safety regulations.
• Complete required paperwork and electronic tachograph records for each journey.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence with Category C+E.
• Valid Digi‑Tacho and CPC card.
• Minimum six months of HGV driving experience (including armed‑forces experience).
• Ability to attend and pass a driving assessment before starting.
