Class 1 HGV Driver – Hatfield

Join the team that keeps the UK moving. Royal Mail is seeking safety‑driven HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers to support nationwide trunking and depot‑to‑depot operations in Hatfield. This temporary role offers consistent, high‑quality work for the remainder of 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Transport mail between national Royal Mail sites.
• Perform complete vehicle checks and maintain top‑tier safety standards.
• Follow scheduled routes with precision.
• Represent Royal Mail professionally on every run.

Required profile

• Valid HGV Class 1 / C+E licence held for at least 2 years.
• Current CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Minimum 180 days of Class 1 driving experience in the last 2 years.
• Maximum 6 penalty points on licence.
• Ability to pass vetting and DBS checks.
