Class 1 HGV Driver – £48,170 per year – Bristol

About the role

GXO Logistics is seeking experienced Class 1 HGV drivers to join its Avonmouth team, delivering goods for a major UK supermarket chain. The role is full‑time, permanent and offers a competitive salary with a range of benefits.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver chilled, frozen and ambient goods to Co‑op stores in the Avonmouth/Bristol area.
• Operate Class 1 HGV safely, legally and efficiently, adhering to all road‑traffic and tachograph regulations.
• Complete all delivery paperwork accurately and on time.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement.
• Valid Driver Qualification Card and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no disqualifying endorsements (DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC, TT99) in the past five years.
• Previous experience driving C+E vehicles is desirable.

Required skills

• Ability to work a 48‑hour week on Any4 or Any5 shift patterns, starting between 04:00 and 10:00.
• Strong attention to detail for paperwork and compliance.
