Class 1 HGV Driver – Up to £22 per Hour

About the role

We are seeking experienced Class 1 (C+E) HGV drivers to deliver goods, cages and totes to stores, distribution centres and port locations across England, Scotland and other destinations. You will work either independently or with a Driver’s Mate, providing a professional and reliable service while meeting delivery schedules safely.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver goods, cages and totes to a variety of retail and distribution sites.
• Operate routes covering England, Scotland and port locations.
• Ensure deliveries are completed safely, on time and in accordance with company standards.
• Maintain accurate records using a digital tachograph.
• Comply with Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.

Required profile

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence held for at least 2 years.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital tachograph card.
• No more than 6 penalty points (SP or TS offences only).
• Good understanding of Drivers’ Hours regulations.
• Professional, reliable approach with a strong commitment to safety and customer service.
