Class 1 Night Driver – Full Time

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Class 1 driver to join our night‑shift team in Burnley. You will transport parcels and freight between customer sites and our hubs, ensuring timely deliveries throughout the night.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver goods to and from customer premises and central hubs within scheduled time windows.
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Comply with driver’s hours, WTD legislation and on‑site health and safety requirements.
• Adapt routes in response to traffic conditions, signs or other incidents.

Required profile

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence with no more than 6 penalty points and no DD/DR convictions.
• Current, valid DCPC card.
• Ability to work night shifts and meet delivery deadlines.

Required skills

• Safe and legal operation of heavy goods vehicles.
• Knowledge of driver’s hours regulations and vehicle safety checks.
