Class 1 Night Driver – Full‑time

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Class 1 driver to join our night‑shift team in Exeter. You will be responsible for moving parcels and freight between customers’ premises and our central hubs, ensuring timely deliveries throughout the night.

Key responsibilities

• Transport goods to and from customers’ premises and DX hubs, meeting strict deadlines.
• Maintain a proven record of safe, legal driving and compliance with all road regulations.
• Observe driver‑hours and Working Time Directive legislation.
• Carry out pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle checks, report any defects and ensure vehicle safety.
• Adhere to on‑site health and safety requirements.
• Divert routes as needed in response to signs, traffic or other conditions.

Required profile

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1/C+E licence.
• No more than six penalty points and no DD/DR code convictions.
• Possess a current, valid DCPC card.
