Class 1 Night Trunk Driver – Full‑time

About the role

Gregory Distribution Ltd is seeking a reliable Class 1 Night Trunk Driver to join its logistics team in Cullompton. You will operate night shifts, covering trunking routes between hubs and delivery points while maintaining high standards of safety and customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Perform straight‑run trunking operations between hubs, Burts and designated delivery locations.
• Load, secure and unload goods using straps, nets or other restraints to prevent damage.
• Conduct daily vehicle safety checks via company device and ensure compliance with all regulations.
• Verify freight against manifests at each depot and provide accurate updates to the transport team.
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay current with industry standards.

Required profile

• Hold a valid UK Class 1 CE licence.
• Current DCPC card and Digital Tachograph driver card.
• Strong geographical knowledge and ability to meet deadlines.
• Fit, flexible, hardworking and self‑motivated.
