About the role
We are seeking an experienced Class 2 (LGV C) driver to join a well‑established client in Exeter. The role involves servicing customers across Devon, Cornwall and Somerset on a regular weekday schedule, starting at 6 am.
Key responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class 2 (LGV C) vehicle on daily routes.
- Visit 15‑25 customer locations per shift and empty 1,000‑litre bins into a Specialist Collection Vehicle.
- Perform vehicle safety checks before and after each shift.
- Complete required paperwork and adhere to driver regulations.
- Maintain high health‑and‑safety standards and deliver excellent customer service.
Required profile
- Valid Category C (Class 2/LGV C) driving licence.
- Valid Driver CPC qualification.
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred.
- Reliable, punctual and safety‑conscious.
- Ability to handle manual‑handling tasks throughout the day.
